Bluetooth printers and cash drawers that work with Pitis POS.
What you needPitis POS works fully without any extra hardware — your phone alone is enough to sell. The following hardware is optional, for a more complete POS experience:
Bluetooth receipt printer — print physical receipts for customers
Cash drawer — opens automatically after every cash payment
Bluetooth HID barcode scanner — add products by scanning codes
Bluetooth Thermal Printers (Receipts)
Pitis POS speaks the standard ESC/POS protocol over Bluetooth BLE — the printers listed here use ESC/POS and are expected to work with Pitis. We have not physically tested every model or variant, so confirm with the seller that the unit you buy is genuinely ESC/POS (not ZPL/CPCL) before you buy. Paper width (58mm or 80mm) can be selected in Settings → Printer.

Cash Drawers
Cash drawers connect to the printer via an RJ11/RJ12 cable. Pitis POS sends the open command directly to the printer — no separate cable to the phone is needed. Check that your printer has an RJ11/RJ12 port.
Standard 5-Compartment DrawerRM 80 – 150
Size: 330 × 380mm
The most common choice. RJ11 connector to the printer. Fits a normal counter.
Compact 4-Compartment DrawerRM 60 – 100
Size: 280 × 330mm
For tight counters. Less room for large coin volumes.
Large 5-Compartment Drawer (Notes & Coins)RM 150 – 250
Size: 410 × 415mm
For shops with heavy cash takings. Noticeably more room.
Hardware NOT compatible
Label / AWB printers
Printers like the D520, Zebra ZD220, Phomemo, or any printer you use for shipping or price labels. These use ZPL or proprietary protocols — no ESC/POS support.
WiFi-only printers (no Bluetooth)
Pitis POS only supports Bluetooth BLE connections. Printers with only WiFi or USB will not appear in the scan.
USB direct to your phone
A direct USB connection from the phone (USB-C, Lightning, or OTG) to a printer is not supported on iOS or Android. Use Bluetooth BLE only.
Laser or inkjet printers
Only thermal printers using rolled paper are compatible.
