Terms of Use

By downloading or using Pitis POS (“the app”, “the service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About the App

Pitis POS is a native iOS point-of-sale application for small businesses in Malaysia. It allows you to manage sales, inventory, staff, and receipts — including receipts formatted to meet LHDN e-Invoice requirements.

2. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Pitis POS for your own business operations, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its source code
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the app
• Resell or sub-licence access to the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

3. Pricing & Billing

3.1 Beta Period

During the current beta period, Pitis POS is free for all users with no limits. All features are included at no charge.

3.2 Future Pricing

We may introduce pricing after the beta period ends. If we do, the details will be published here and communicated to you in advance.

We will notify you at least 30 days before any pricing change takes effect. Continued use of the app after receiving notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

3.3 No Hidden Fees

During the beta period there are no setup fees, monthly fees, transaction fees, device limits, or locked features.

4. Your Data

• You own all data you enter into Pitis POS.
• We do not claim any rights over your business data, sales records, or customer information.
• See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is stored and protected.

5. LHDN Receipts & Compliance

Pitis POS generates receipts formatted to meet LHDN e-Invoice field requirements. However:

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of business information (TIN, SSM number, MSIC code) entered into the app.
• You are solely responsible for submitting receipts or invoices to MyInvois or any other regulatory authority.
• Pitis POS does not integrate with MyInvois API — submission is manual.
• We do not guarantee that receipts generated will satisfy all future LHDN requirements, as regulations may change.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pitis POS to:

• Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity
• Record false or fabricated sales transactions
• Circumvent Malaysian tax or invoicing requirements

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pitis POS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use the app at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
